Using InterviewFocus
How do I prepare for a video recorded mock interview?
Clear your desk of extra stuff and pick out a comfortable chair. Check your lights (do not use back lighting). Check your webcam and mic and make sure they are working properly. Make sure the webcam is placed in the right spot according to our interview setup. Close out any programs that might interfere with the webcam. Check your internet connections. Dress professionally.

Does the system require a user to download the interview software?
InterviewFocus is in the cloud, so you don’t have to download or install any software.
Does the InterviewFocus service work on a PC and/or MAC?
The system works on a PC or MAC with a webcam and internet access.
What are the minimum system requirements?
Minimum requirements are an HD camera at 780px and a microphone; the minimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768. We suggest you invest in a high-resolution webcam for the detection software to provide you with the most accurate results!
What is a calibration and how does it work?
During your video mock interview configuration, we will automatically run a calibration to ensure that your webcam and mic are working properly. The InterviewFocus application will provide you with feedback to help you ensure a smooth interviewing experience.
Which internet browsers work best with InterviewFocus?
We suggest you use the latest version of Google Chrome for the most accurate and optimal experience with our system!
Can I pause a mock interview?
Yes, you can interrupt the current interview! However, the interview will restart at the question you were answering when you paused your mock interview, without the option of repeating the already answered questions!
